The person that interviewed is John Birtwistle

-Who was big when you were going up?

When he was growing up he liked listening to like the Rolling Stones. He said that he listened to them most the time. Then later on he heard some of the Beatles songs then he started to listen to them here and there.

-What did your parents say about listening to them?

He said that his parents didn’t really like the Rolling Stones to much or any other type of group like that, but he said that they didn’t mind the Beatles really. But he also said that they let him listen to about whatever because they believed in him being his own person.

-What type of music do you listen to now a days?

He said he likes to listen to the Rolling Stones, Steven Tyler, Steve Miller, Joe Walsh, and other types of music like this.

-What do you think of the music today?

He said that he thinks today’s music is nothing but mostly garbage, because of what they are singing of doing and all things that they are proud of doing also. But he thinks that rap is the worst of all the music today, or just out of what he hears actually. He thinks we should like what his age of people like.

So if you look the trend has not changed at all, because parents are the same now as they were in the past. I say that because they think that the music that we like to listen is devil music, and we should be listening to what they like. Well I think that this will never change, we will do the same when we are our parents and our children will do it too. But I hope one day that we will look pass everything that is happening and accept all types of music.
